Why wouldn’t you simply file a patent to timestamp your claim?

This is assuming that a blockchain ledger would be considered a sufficient timestamp in courts which has never happened in case law to my knowledge. Do you know of cases?

Given what is happening in tissue clones couldn't you defend based on tracing back to the clone you own? Sun grown is not as popular as indoor growth so it strikes me that large players like Monsanto wouldn't have the same opportunity to strike down the little guy as they did with farmers whose crops are susceptible to natures cross-breeding(ie infringement).

Even if this system is 100% Blockchain wouldn't stop a large company from flooding the ledger with their own stain claims which would be like the patent claims just in a different container. At the end of the day, their lawyers are still goliaths.

What is abundantly clear is that there is a cultural synergy between blockchain and cannabis and every yenta investor wants them to get into bed so they can finally have some grandbabies.
